After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, start your exploration of Phnom Penh, a city that's always full of energy and excitement. The boulevards lined with trees and riverfront promenades that remain from previous eras are now bustling with activity, with motorcycles darting in and out of traffic, vendors selling their wares, and locals going about their daily routines. In the afternoon, take an excursion to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, located just outside of Phnom Penh. This serene, rural area is a somber reminder of the atrocities that occurred during the Pol Pot regime between 1975 and 1978. Thousands of individuals were executed and buried in mass graves on these grounds.

Finally, visit the Tuol Sleng Museum (Museum of Genocide), previously the Tuol Svay Prey High School, which was transformed into an interrogation and torture facility by the Khmer Rouge regime in 1975, known as Security Prison 21 or S-21. The prison has been largely preserved, showcasing photographs and exhibits that provide a glimpse into the thousands of individuals who passed through its doors, with only seven surviving.

The tour concludes at 6:00 pm, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel to check in and spend the night in Phnom Penh.
