Sukhothai old city is yet another attraction. Outside the walls of the old city of Sukhothai there are about 200 more temple ruins which have been excavated. The walls of some corridors to these temples depict the ancient history of famous Jataka, which has its mention in the history of Thailand. Sukhothai old city is open from 6am in the morning to 9pm for tourists.

The Wat Mahathat is one of the most famous wats of Thailand located in Sukhothai and besides this; there also are other wats, which should be visited to witness the holy ancient culture of Sukhothai.
