The other sides of the park give beautiful views of the lake. Visitors should not miss the sunset view of the Shwedagon Pagoda which is the most famous tourist’s destination site.

Chaukhtatgyi Paya is an interesting place of the city to visit. The statue of standing Buddha is wonderful to see. The statue is housed in a shed made of metal. The pinnacle of the Buddha is decorated with the gems and diamonds and feet are etched with various inscriptions which show the symbols and characteristics of the statue. Visitors can also visit the Nga Htat gyi Pagoda which is another famous temple near the Chaukhtatgyi Paya.

National Museum of Myanmar, The collection of the museum is very impressive. There are many artworks, cultural explanations, religious relics, golden objects, ethnicities and many other objects of the imperial court of Myanmar.
