Welcome to the magical land of Myanmar, where ancient temples and bustling cityscapes harmoniously coexist. This 5-day tour will take you through the country's most iconic sites, starting with Yangon, the former capital city, and then to the archaeological wonderland of Bagan.

On Day 1, arrive in Yangon, the economic and cultural hub of Myanmar. Your guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for some rest and relaxation.

On Day 2, get ready to discover the city's highlights with a full-day Yangon city tour. Visit the majestic Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most significant religious sites in Myanmar, and explore the bustling Bogyoke Aung San Market, where you can shop for souvenirs and immerse yourself in local culture.

On Day 3, it's time to head to Bagan, an awe-inspiring site that boasts more than 2,000 ancient temples and pagodas. Take a flight from Yangon to Bagan and embark on a temple tour, where you'll get a chance to witness the beauty and grandeur of these ancient structures.

On Day 4, continue exploring the wonders of Bagan with a full-day city tour. Marvel at the intricate details of Ananda Temple, discover the hidden gems of Sulamani Temple, and soak in the stunning views from the top of Buledi Temple.

Once you've met your guide, they will accompany you to your hotel and assist you with the check-in process. Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage make it one of the most fascinating cities in Southeast Asia.

After breakfast, we'll take a tour around the city center which is filled various historical and colonial buildings partly by car or partly on foot. We’ll first visit to Sule Pagoda which is a 2200-year-old temple surrounded by government buildings and commercial shop. Then, you'll pass along the way to Mahabandoola Park where Independent Monument exists. Continue your tour by passing City Hall, a little India and a little china. Continue to Bogyoke Market, formerly known as Scott’s Market, where you can browse through the wide selection of Myanmar handicrafts and other goods (Note: closed on Mondays and public holidays).

Then, we'll visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, one of Myanmar's more beautiful reclining buddhas which is topped by a crown encrusted with diamonds and other precious stones. The feet of the statue carved with traditional symbols and often many locals gathering to pay homage and pray. From Here, end your day at Shwedagon Pagoda which is one of the wonders of the world. It was built 2500 years ago and enshrined with hair relics of Buddha and a place where to meet devoted Buddhists meditating and praying. Enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa from this vantage point.

This morning, you'll transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan (NyaungOo). Bagan, located on the banks of the Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy) River, is home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world with many dating from the 11th and 12th centuries.

On arrival, your journey begins with a visit an elevated temple from where you will have a panoramic view of the magnificent plains of Bagan. Continue with a visit to the golden Shwezigon Pagoda, first and prototype monument, which was built in Myanmar style in 1087. Then, visit to Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple @ Wetkyi-Inn Village which is well-known for its exquisite jataka mural paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.

This afternoon begin with a visit to a traditional lacquer ware workshop where you can observe the production of one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Continue to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagan’s most beautiful temples. Built in the early Mon-style, Ananda contains two unique Buddha images whose expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed. From here, travel by horse cart for a tour passing Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan, massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork, and Sulamani Temple.

Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of one of the temples.

After breakfast at your hotel, we'll visit Nyaung Oo Market where villagers gather every day to buy and sell their produce and other goods. Continue to Myinkaba village and take a short walking tour to explore the temples of Manuha and Nan Paya. Explore more temples in the area, visit more craft shops or return to your hotel for a break to relax from the midday heat.

This afternoon, continue to the rural village of Minnanthu, one of Bagan’s least visited areas. Here you will explore temples such as Payathonzu, Lemyentha and Nandamannya before heading to the riverside pier. Board a local boat for a slow cruise down the Irrawaddy River. As you cruise the waters, observe the lifestyle of the fishermen and riverside villagers as well as enjoying the unique perspective of Bagan’s temples. Return to your hotel this evening.

NOTICE TO TOURIST VISA APPLICANTS

1. You will need the following before you apply:

a. Your passport validity must have at least (6) months.

b. You have to upload one COLOR PHOTO (4.6 cm X 3.8 cm) taking during last (3)months.

c. Visa, Master, JCB credit cards for the Online Visa payment.

2. A proof of return ticket from Myanmar must be attached to the application.

3. A proof of hotel booking must be attached to the application. Tourists must stay in registered hotels, motels, inns, guest house and resort during your stay in Myanmar.

4. Travelers must have the following documents:

a. A certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19 at least 14 days before arrival to Myanmar, with one of the following vaccines which has been approved by the Ministry of Health (MOH). Insurance Certificate must be attached to the application. (Detailed information can be obtained at the Myanmar Insurance’s website www.mminsurance.gov.mm and the insurance can be purchased online at www.mminsurance.gov.mm/inbound-travel-accident-insurance.)

5. Travelers must present a printed copy of each document mentioned in the paragraph 1 to airline staffs upon check-in before boarding the aircraft destined for Myanmar as well as to the respective airport health authorities upon arrival to Myanmar.

6. Travelers must submit a Health Declaration Form to the respective airport health authorities upon arrival to Myanmar. (A legal action will be taken against a traveler, if he or she provides any incorrect information in the Health Declaration Form.)

7. Travelers shall be subject to a thermal screening and necessary health check to be conducted by the respective airport health authorities, upon arrival to Myanmar.

8. Travelers must undergo a COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) at the place designated by the Ministry of Health and airport authorities and must bear the cost of 15,000 MMK.

9. Travelers shall report to the respective health authorities if they have developed signs and symptoms of COVID-19 during their stay in Myanmar. (Contact details of the respective health departments can be obtained from the designated hotels.)

10. Travelers shall be immediately isolated and taken to a hospital or treatment center or hotel designated by the MOH as per health protocols, if they are found to be symptomatic of COVID-19 or they are tested positive for COVID-19 during the RDT test.

11. If the result is negative, travelers are allowed to go about their activities.

12. Travelers must strictly follow the instructions made by the respective health authorities. Any breach will result in legal action in accordance with the existing laws and procedures.

13. The stipulations are subject to change depending on the COVID-19 situation.
